DeWine Announces Permanent ODJFS Director


Governor DeWine has announced that, effective July 5, Matt Damschroder will move from interim director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) to its permanent director. Prior to serving as interim director of ODJFS,, Damschroder served as the director of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS).


A native of Columbus, Matt holds an M.A. in Public Policy and Management from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs and a B.S. in Business Administration from the Max M. Fisher College of Business, both at The Ohio State University.


Kathleen Madden will replace Damschroder as DAS director, leaving her position as Chief of Staff at the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
