Since its inception in February 2018, Bridges has guided over 2,100 young adults across the state of Ohio in their transition to adulthood. This unique program provides needed support and guidance to youth aging out of the foster care system.
Bridges is excited to be launching NEW marketing efforts to spread awareness about the program to young adults who can benefit from our services. Our FIND YOUR PLACE campaign focuses on the domains young adults will be guided through to ensure a successful transition into adulthood. Please see the official Ohio Department of Job and Family Services press release that marks our official campaign launch.
Housing: We help young adults find and maintain somewhere safe and affordable to live; whether it means an apartment, low-income housing, or a college dorm room.
Education: From high school, GED/HSED testing, vocational school, to college, we help young adults navigate the educational paths needed to reach their personal goals.
Employment: From creating a resume to preparing for interviews to job training programs, we help open new employment opportunities. We provide young adults with the support and skills needed to maintain employment and succeed at their jobs.
Well-Being: Nothing is more important than the physical and mental health of our young adults. We connect young adults to the individualized treatment and supportive services they need.
