MEMBERSHIP DUES

Membership dues are designed to be equitable, predictable and responsive to the size and circumstances of each organization. Our progressive dues structure allows membership to scale with your organization while supporting the collective work of the Ohio Children’s Alliance.

HOW DUES ARE CALCULATED

Dues are calculated using a progressive structure, similar to income tax brackets. Annual membership dues are based on your agency’s most recent applicable tax filing.

Consistent with each agency’s filing requirements, nonprofit members should reference prior-year expenditures, found on Line 18 of Form 990. For-profit members should reference total operating expenses reported on Form 1120, 1120-S or 1065.

This approach helps:

  • Create greater equity by aligning dues with organizational size and circumstances.
  • Provide predictability by avoiding sudden jumps as expenditures increase.
  • Respond to changes by automatically adjusting dues when expenditures decrease.
  • Strengthen our collective impact by providing the resources needed to advocate, connect and advance better outcomes for Ohio’s children, youth and families.
